My Gregory backpack for the Camino Portugese, fully loaded with water, about 17-18 lbs (7 kilos). Only on my third Camino did I discover the frame was too small for me, and despite that too heavy, so I switched to a lighter Osprey pack. The scallop shell is worn as a sign that you are a pilgrim, and the sword of Navarra is a symbol of the Jacobean Way. The yellow arrow patch is from the Camino de Santiago forum of which I am a member.
